Neurofeedback is direct training of brain function to more appropriate patterns. Neurofeedback is also called EEG Biofeedback, because it is based on electrical brain activity, the electroencephalogram, or EEG. Neurofeedback is training in self-regulation.
Neurofeedback addresses problems of brain dysregulation such as anxiety-depression spectrum, attention deficits, behavior disorders, various sleep disorders, headaches and migraines, PMS, and emotional disturbances. It is also useful for organic brain conditions such as seizures, the autism spectrum, and cerebral palsy.
We are especially concerned with the more "intractable" brain-based problems of childhood whose needs are not currently being met. This includes seizures and sub-clinical seizure activity, Severely disruptive behavior disorders such as Conduct Disorder and Bipolar Disorder, Autistic spectrum and pervasive developmental delay, Cerebral palsy, Acquired brain injury, and Birth trauma.
Neurofeedback can aid greatly with children suffering from sleep problems such as Bed wetting, Sleep walking, sleep talking, Teeth grinding, Nightmares, and Night terrors. It helps with adolescent problems that include Drug abuse, Suicidal behavior, Anxiety and depression. Any brain, regardless of age or impairment, can be trained to function better. This greatly enhances concentration and emotional control which provides a great benefit to those in the fields of sports or business.

We are proud to announce the successful launch of our new integrative model into the health care system. We appreciate your participation and patience as we worked through changes in the health care system. We will continue to provide high quality care at an affordable cost within an integrative medical model. We look forward to sharing all of the new and innovative enhancements while maintaining the family atmosphere that our location has provided for over 30 years. As you recall the clinic was previously named Quijano Family practice, sold to Felicity (Quijano) Davis and renamed JD Health and Wellness Center. We named the Clinic JD after the children of Both Felicity and Eric Davis Josiah, Jazmyn, and Lastly Joshua. The name JD was inspired by Joshua Davis the youngest grandchild of Dr. Oscar and Lerma Quijano. Joshua is a book in the bible and was a leader charged with leading his people after his servant Moses had passed on. Joshua was the next leader to lead the Israelites who had been traveling in the wilderness for thirty years getting the same results. Joshua was given a special charge as he was told in Joshua 1:7 Be strong and very courageous….Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:7-1:9)This commandment was given to him prior to entering a new world. We are entering a new health model care and we will be here for you and the community as we transition into this new system of care.

My name is Chrystie McCormick. I am a patient of both Anna Boyd, N.D., and Eric Davis. I began my new journey in life 16 months ago after hitting rock bottom in life.
Over the last year and a half of being a patient at JD Health and Wellness Center, I have received nothing but the most amazing care. Up until the time I began my Healthcare and Therapy at JD Healthcare, I never thought I would be where I am in my current life and had never had such a wonderful fit with a Therapist and Physician in all my years of struggle with severe Depression and Anxiety and much much more. The teamwork Eric, Dr. Boyd and the current addition of my care team (Jackie) is extraordinary.
To have a Physician and Therapist that work so well together to meet the needs of a patient in dire need. I have never had a Therapist that I can reach out to day or night and even on weekends in which if I have needed to contact, that I can send a text to or have a Physician to page that make you feel you matter and your not a bother too.
I consider my care team not only my Healthcare Providers, they have become a huge part of my life and apart of my family.
When down and out, feeling like theres no Hope insight, I can walk into their office in tears and having a difficult time in life or a bad day, I leave there with a smile and truly know my wellbeing is extremely important to them and I am not wasting their time.
The best part of my ups and downs in life or heavy bumps in the road, I survived them from the wonderful support I have been provided with. I am truly blessed by each and everyone whom is apart of JD Health and Wellness Center.
I would recommend if a patient is in need of an amazing Therapist or in search of a excellent Physician, JD Health and Wellness Center is where I would recommend to establish a new patient appointment. You will receive nothing but the BEST care by this amazing team! I cant even Thank each of them enough or express enough words for how great full I am each and every single day! They were brought into my life for an amazing reason and I Pray each day that this team of Healthcare will exist together for a very long time! I dont know what I would do or where I would be if it wasnt for each and everyone there!
I came to JD Health and Wellness seeking a fresh and comprehensive approach to my healthcare needs. I have been seeing Dr. Boyd, and with each visit I am even more glad I made her my primary care physician. She is extremely thorough, and I always feel listened to and leave with a smile on my face. The entire staff has been welcoming, professional, and attentive. As a regular patient, I have confidence that I will be treated with the utmost care throughout my entire visit. I am so glad I decided to become a patient there.
Dr. Boyd is excellent, always takes the time to answer all questions and thuroughly looks into what may be going on. Eric is awesome and has helped tremendously as well. I will botch the spelling of her name for sure so I'm not going to try, but the woman up front is awesome, always so sweet and caring. Great all around!!
Anna Boyd has been my primary care physician for going on 5 years. She takes time to listen and hear what your saying. Dr. Boyd really cares about her patients. Dr. Boyd has taken time to call and check on me when I was very ill and in ICU. In my opion there is not a better Dr out there. The office staff is attentive and professional.
Ive been going to JD Health and Wellness for almost 8yrs. When i walked in i couldn't bend over i couldn't do a lot of things that im now able todo.. They have helped me not only with my physical but some other areas of my life, they help heal with mind, body and soul. A great bunch of people. They really care and will do what they can when they can for you.. thank you guys.
Yes , l love the ppl who work and take care of patients like myself . Always kind and caring. Not sure where ld be without them
Absolutely love the Providers here. Dr. Lissy, Shawntee, Lupe, and the entire team are empathetic and one heck of a sense of humor. P. K is the BEST acupuncturist I've ever been blessed to have. Kudos to y'all! !!??????
Excellent care and compassion from Dr. Lissy. He listens and carefully before diagnosing. He goes the extra mile advising and prescribing care. He is the only doctor I've seen who offers alternative methods. The staff is friendly and helpful. I am able to get appts the same or next day. I trust this doctor!
I absolutely love Dr Anna Boyd, she really takes the time to listen to me and makes sure that I understand everything and answers all of questions. I especially like the fact that she stays in there for as long as it takes, and with other clinics you only get so much time and if you haven't gotten everything answered too bad, take it up next visit. One of the few truly caring Dr's left in this town, we need more Dr's like her!
I give this doctors office 5 stars, because out of the 10 years I have had to deal with my chronic conditions I have not found a doctor office that was more considerate than JD Health and Wellness. From the moment I walk in the door, I am greeted with a smile and concern for my well being. If you need a doctor that will take the time to listen, understand and communicate with you intelligently this is the BEST place you could find. Nothing more frustrating than being disabled but having the great doctors at this small, peaceful, comfortable atmosphere, they provide is a life saver!
